International productions don’t know the Hungarian scene – your showreel is the one tool that can introduce you.
And it has rules. A professional showreel is not a music video. They want to see you – not the editor's creative flair.

👋 Why Work With Me?

I’ve been working as a film editor for over 10 years, and I create actor showreels in close collaboration with casting director Hermina Fátyol, based on international industry standards.
Thanks to this partnership, you get a reel that gives you a real chance to stand out in international casting calls.

🎥 What Makes a Good Showreel?

  • Keep it short – ideally 1–3 minutes, best around 2 minutes.
  • Start with your strongest scene – chances are they won’t watch it all.
  • Use recent footage – it should reflect how you look and act now.
  • Keep the focus on you – avoid too many other actors unless they add clear value.
  • No background music – unless it’s part of the scene.
  • Let scenes breathe – don’t overcut, allow emotional continuity.
  • One strong scene is better than five average ones.
  • All titles should be in English – director, title, year, awards.

💼 Standard Rate: 75.000 HUF / showreel

💼 What the Standard Package Includes:

The standard package is ideal if you know what you want and can deliver all materials in one go.
  • Single delivery: You provide all footage at once (hard drive or via download links).
  • Selected scenes: You choose which parts to include – ideally with timecodes (hh:mm).
  • Title data: You send me:
    • Director name
    • Film / theatre title
    • Awards (if any)
    • Year
  • Rough cut + 2 revisions:
    • We review the rough cut together (in person – Budapest, District XIV) or via email feedback.
  • Total of 3 versions (1 rough cut + 2 revisions)
  • Feedback must be given within 2 working days for each version

💡 When Additional Fees Apply:

  • If materials are delivered in multiple batches
  • If you don’t specify timecodes and I need to watch through full seasons ;)
  • If we go beyond 3 versions
  • If you need urgent delivery ("ASAP")
  • If the project drags out over time
You’ll always be informed of any extra costs in advance – no surprises.

📎 Additional Info

  • We can discuss your requests by phone, but you must send everything clearly and in writing by email.
  • Drafts are uploaded to YouTube as unlisted links – accessible only via direct link.
  • Final video is delivered via Google Drive after payment is received.
  • Project files and raw materials are stored for 1 year.
  • Later updates or modifications are priced based on their scope.
