The first step in choosing the actors is the showreel.
The showreel has strict rules, it is not a video clip cut to music, they are interested in you, not the creativity of the editor.

Let's see the main showreel rules:

  • It should be 1-3 minutes long - ideally 2 minutes.
  • The best, strongest scene should be at the beginning - they will most likely not watch the whole video, the scene you definitely want to show should come first
  • The recordings should not be too old - it shall reflect who you as you are now
  • Make it clear who it's about, don't include (too many) other actors. Of course, if it's a big name, feel free to show it. No need to cut out other actors even, but it should be clear that YOU are in the focus
  • No music underneath - unless the scene has music, it's not a montage to music
  • Too much and fast edits are not preferable also, let's them see the scene
  • If you only have 1 good scene, make it that one
  • The subtitles (director, name of the film / theater performance, etc...) should be in English

Standard fee: 67.500.- HUF / showreel

(50.000.- + 17.500.- tax, I am self-employed, I issue VAT-free invoices)

Standard fee:

  • The footages come in one round (physically, on a hard drive or via download links)
  • You know which part of the recording you want to be included in your showreel, and you write this to me - ideally with the timecode (hour : minute)
  • You write the text of the captions: director, title of the film / theater performance, awards you won - year
  • Based on these, I will prepare the first rough cut of your showreel, which I will modify either personally with you or based on a written list of your comments (locally Bp, Zugló, Herminamező)
  • There are 3 versions in total
  • You will reply within two days

Extra cost:

  • ​If the footages come in more batches
  • You don't tell me where the good parts are and I have to watch five seasons to choose ;)
  • If we can't fit in 3 versions
  • Urgency
  • The project is taking a long time
​In any case, I will inform you in advance of the amount of the surcharge, there will be no surprises

Other:

  • We can discuss the requests over the phone, but please send the instrucions clearly in an itemized email
  • I upload the versions to YouTube as an unlisted link (not searchable, only available via the link)
  • You can download the final result from the Google Drive cloud application via the provided download link after receiving my fee
  • I will keep the project and raw materials for one year
  • In case of modification - update, the proce depends on the extent of the modification
